In a major development ahead of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regional executive elections, prominent party communicator and administrator Gabriella Tetteh has officially filed her nomination form to contest the Central Regional Vice Chairperson seat.

Surrounded by enthusiastic supporters, party delegates, and constituency executives at the party’s regional secretariat, Tetteh expressed her deep commitment to strengthening the party’s organizational base across the region.

Addressing members of the press and party faithful after submitting her documents, Tetteh highlighted the urgent need for a unified and proactive executive body capable of mobilizing grassroots voters.

“I am stepping forward for the position of Central Regional Vice Chairperson because our party needs vibrant, dedicated, and strategic leadership to consolidate our gains in the region,” Tetteh declared. “This campaign is not about personal ambition; it is about building a strong, inclusive regional structure that listens to the grassroots and empowers every constituency.”

Tetteh, who has served the party in various communications and administrative capacities, emphasized that her track record speaks to her loyalty and capacity to deliver.

“Over the years, I have stood on the frontlines defending the values and policies of the NDC,” she noted. “As Vice Chairperson, my focus will be on fostering unity, improving communication channels between the regional executive committee and the constituencies, and ensuring that our operational machinery is always battle-ready.”

Reactions from party grassroots following her submission were overwhelmingly positive. Kwesi Mensah, a constituency delegate from the region, praised her dedication and accessibility.

“Gabriella Tetteh has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the party’s cause,” Mensah said. “She brings fresh energy, accessibility, and a clear vision for the Central Region. We need leaders like her who understand organizational work and care about the welfare of party loyalists at the branch level.”

With nominations now officially filed, the election management committee is expected to vet all candidates in the coming days ahead of the regional conference. Tetteh expressed full confidence in the electoral process, urging her supporters to conduct a clean and respectful campaign.

“We are one family in the NDC,” Tetteh concluded. “Our ultimate goal goes beyond internal elections; it is about ensuring our party remains the preferred choice for the people of the Central Region and Ghana as a whole.”
