As the National Democratic Congress (NDC) intensifies its internal restructuring and strategy ahead of future national assignments, the race for the Central Regional executive slots is heating up.

Momentum continues to build rapidly behind Joseph Mensah Abakah, with a massive wave of party delegates and stalwarts rallying behind his vision to become the next Central Regional Organizer.

Widely regarded across the region as a consummate grassroots tactician, Mr. Abakah has firmly established himself as the frontrunner for the crucial organizational portfolio, commanding widespread respect for his track record in political strategy and party mobilization.

    The Grassroots Resurgence

The campaign, fueled by the popular rallying cry #WinningTogether, has resonated deeply with the party’s base. Party insiders point to Abakah’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the NDC from the branch level upward as the defining factor setting his candidacy apart.

“Victory is achieved through teamwork, meticulous planning, and effective organization,” Abakah recently told a gathering of branch executives, emphasizing that a top-down approach cannot win the crucial Central Region. “We must empower the base, respect the structures, and ensure that every single member feels valued in our collective march forward.”

Supporters across the region’s constituencies argue that the political dynamics of the Central Region require a high-energy, unifying figure who understands the unique socio-political terrain of the coastal and interior sectors alike.

    Delegates Demand Strategic Leadership

For many delegates, Abakah’s strategic acumen is exactly what the NDC needs to consolidate its gains and reclaim lost ground in the region. His supporters maintain that he possesses the unique combination of experience, youthful energy, and inclusive leadership necessary to unite factions and drive executive performance.

“The verdict across the constituencies is becoming clearer by the day,” a senior constituency executive from Cape Coast remarked on condition of anonymity. “Joseph Mensah Abakah has shown a rare dedication to party organization and grassroots mobilization. He doesn’t just show up during main election cycles; he has been in the trenches with us, working on strategic planning long before the whistle blew.”

    A Vision of Unity

Beyond his tactical capabilities, Abakah’s message continues to center around reconciliation, collective progress, and absolute readiness for national campaign duties. He has consistently inspired delegates with a roadmap focused on logistical efficiency, training for branch organizers, and robust electoral surveillance mechanisms.

As the internal contest draws closer, political analysts view the Central Regional Organizer position as a linchpin for the NDC’s broader electoral fortunes. With the groundswell of endorsement from influential party actors, many across the region confidently assert that Joseph Mensah Abakah is positioned as the next incoming NDC Central Regional Organizer, ready to lead the regional machinery with dedication, strategy, and a unified front.
