In a major boost to Ghana’s private healthcare infrastructure and a massive stride toward positioning the country as a medical tourism hub in West Africa, the Chief of Staff, Dr. Julius Debrah, yesterday officially commissioned Euracare’s ultra-modern Multi-Specialist Hospital at Adjirigano, East Legon.

The high-profile ceremony attracted state officials, traditional leaders, corporate executives, and stakeholders from the medical fraternity.

The newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility was dedicated through a special prayer and ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the founder and general overseer of Action Chapel International.

    Redefining Medical Excellence Locally

Delivering his keynote address before touring the facility, the Chief of Staff, Dr. Julius Debrah, emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting private sector partnerships that elevate the standard of living and health outcomes for Ghanaians.

”Investing in healthcare is not just a social obligation; it is an essential foundation for driving sustainable economic growth,” Hon. Julius Debrah stated. “With facilities like Euracare opening here in Adjirigano, we are reshaping our health sector. This hospital will substantially reduce the need for Ghanaians to seek medical treatment overseas, saving valuable resources and keeping top-tier medical expertise right here at home.”

The Chief of Staff further lauded the management of Euracare for their visionary investment, adding:

”Our goal as a nation is to ensure that every citizen has access to premium clinical care. When the private sector steps up with this level of technological advancement and infrastructure, it complements the public sector’s efforts in establishing Ghana as the primary healthcare destination for the West African sub-region.”

    A Sanctuary of Specialized Healing

The flagship Adjirigano facility marks a significant upgrade in modern private medicine, transitioning into a fully equipped, Ghanaian-owned surgical and diagnostic center. It features highly specialized units including advanced interventional cardiology, oncology, intensive care (ICU), interventional radiology, and modern maternity services.

Spiritual dedication remains an integral part of Ghanaian milestones. Before cutting the ribbon, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams offered prayers for the management, clinical staff, and future patients of the hospital.

”We dedicate this facility to the service of humanity and the glory of God,” the Archbishop declared during the blessing. “May this place be a sanctuary of healing, comfort, and restoration. Let the hands of the medical professionals who operate here be guided by divine precision and compassion, ensuring that every soul that walks through these doors leaves with renewed health.”

    Bridging the Healthcare Gap

Following the dedication, dignitaries were guided through the complex to inspect the high-resolution MRI and CT scanners, the advanced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, and the specialized Aesthetic Gynaecology unit.

Speaking on behalf of the hospital’s leadership, medical administrators expressed their readiness to redefine patient-centered care.

”Our mission is simple: to provide world-class medical services without the financial and emotional stress of international travel,” a representative noted. “By integrating cutting-edge medical technologies with top-tier international and Ghanaian specialists, Euracare is bringing the future of global medicine directly to East Legon.”

The launch of the Adjirigano facility signals a transformative era for private clinical services in Accra, offering immediate, precision-driven solutions to complex medical cases that previously demanded commercial medical evacuations abroad.
