Amamat Dauda, the incumbent Women Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, has centered her campaign for reelection around grassroots empowerment and women’s economic advancement.
Addressing branch executives and party faithful in Kasoa, Dauda pointed to her multi-disciplinary background as a law graduate, professional teacher, and active party communicator as key assets in strengthening the constituency’s political footprint.
Instead of relying solely on political rhetoric, Dauda framed her platform around structured skills acquisition, civic education, and targeted welfare initiatives designed to build economic resilience among women across Awutu Senya East.
“Leadership at the constituency level must go beyond seasonal mobilization,” Dauda stated. “As a professional teacher and law graduate, my goal has been to equip our women with practical skills, political literacy, and the confidence to lead in their respective branches. Reelection means expanding these programs so every woman in our constituency feels supported and empowered.”
Dauda, who has served as a primary voice for the NDC’s female wing in the constituency, highlighted her previous work in organizing branch-level workshops and driving community-outreach initiatives aimed at broadening the party’s voter base.
“We have built a strong, disciplined network of female organizers who are capable of taking our message directly to the doorsteps of every home in Kasoa,” she remarked. “My background as a communicator allows me to articulate our challenges effectively, while my experience as a mother keeps me grounded in the everyday realities our families face.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming internal elections, Dauda urged delegates to prioritize stability, proven experience, and strategic leadership as the party prepares for broader electoral contests.
“Our work in Awutu Senya East requires steady hands and clear direction,” Dauda urged. “I bring my legal training, my passion for teaching, and my unwavering commitment to this party back to the delegates. Together, we will continue to organize, build, and deliver results.”
