The contest for executive leadership within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Awutu Senya East has taken a decisive turn as prominent party figure Alex Agbesi Dzata Aborge formally steps into the race for Constituency Chairman.
Positioned as #1 on the ballot, Aborge’s entry has injected renewed energy into the local party structure, driven by a campaign message centered on collective strength, accountability, and institutional reform under his banner slogan, “New Direction, Renewed Hope”.
Known widely among supporters as “The Unifier,” Aborge addressed an enthusiastic gathering of party delegates and branch executives, making a direct appeal for a shift toward collaborative and transparent leadership.
”I am running for chairman to bring a fresh vision, open communication, and real results to our community,” Aborge declared to the crowd. “Together, we can build a stronger, more transparent future where every voice is heard and valued.”
Highlighting the importance of grassroots mobilization and ethical governance, Aborge urged voters to evaluate candidates based on their track record and commitment to party values.
”Stand with me for a transformed constituency,” he emphasized. “A vote for my leadership is a vote for progress, and a vote for integrity. We must work together to build the party we all desire.”
