The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially launched an integrated digital portal designed to manage party operations, streamline internal electoral processes, and enhance member participation ahead of its upcoming national internal elections.

The centralized online application system, accessible via forms.ghanandc.com, forms part of the party’s broader modernizing strategy aimed at eliminating administrative bottlenecks, boosting internal transparency, and enforcing strict compliance during nomination processes.

The deployment of the portal coincides with the opening of nominations for key internal leadership positions across constituency, regional, and national levels, enabling aspirants, proposers, and endorsers to execute payments and submit documentation digitally.

In an official directive issued through the party’s secretariat, Deputy General Secretary Barbara Serwaa Asamoah reiterated the mandatory use of the platform for all electoral transactions, emphasizing that traditional banking channels and cash payments have been phased out.

“All payments for the picking of nomination forms and filing fees must be made strictly through its online portal. Payments can be made through Mobile Money on all networks or by Visa Card and MasterCard,” the party confirmed, adding that “bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted.”

Under the new digital guidelines, participation in internal elections is strictly tied to automated verification systems to ensure that all contestants and supporting members maintain verified standing within the party structure.

“Aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must all be members in good standing and must have fully settled their membership dues,” the statement detailed. Members with outstanding arrears have been directed to clear their accounts instantly via shortcode USSD protocols or through the party’s official website prior to submitting nomination files online.

Reiterating the core values governing the electoral timetable, the party leadership underscored that digital administrative reforms must be paired with strict personal accountability and operational decorum from all participating candidates.

“All aspirants and members are urged to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for its democratic values throughout the electoral process,” the party stated, emphasizing that “the cooperation and support of members will be crucial to ensuring a transparent, peaceful, orderly and successful election.”

Party leadership urged all prospective candidates across the country to capitalize on the streamlined digital process to ensure seamless filings as the NDC prepares its organizational framework for upcoming national polls.
