The National Communications Authority (NCA) has granted approval for Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet services to begin operations in Ghana as part of efforts to enhance internet connectivity across the country.

In a statement released last week, the NCA announced that Starlink will officially launch its services in Ghana by the end of August.

The approval comes after the successful completion of administrative and licensing procedures with the NCA.

“Starlink will officially commence operations in Ghana by the end of this month (August, 2024). This follows the conclusion of all administrative and licensing procedures with the National Communications Authority (NCA).

“Starlink will be operated by Space X Starlink GH LTD,” the statement added.
