In a resounding demonstration of commitment to educational advancement and community development, Mrs. Hannah Brenda Amoateng Anewenah, Managing Director of MyTurn Ltd and Lesken Enterprises, represented the Dr. Kenneth Anewenah Foundation as a key patron at the recent St. Francis Girls’ Senior High School (FOGA) Homecoming event in Jirapa.

The weekend celebration brought together generations of alumni, school leadership, and students to reflect on the institution’s heritage while securing brighter academic futures for the current generation.

Speaking on behalf of the Dr. Kenneth Anewenah Foundation, Mrs. Anewenah underscored the transformative power of female education in regional development. During the main assembly, she officially announced a series of major interventions aimed at relieving the financial burden on exceptional students and elevating academic standards within the school.

“Education remains the most potent tool for driving sustainable change in our communities,” Mrs. Anewenah stated during her address. “The Dr. Kenneth Anewenah Foundation is deeply committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not derail the dreams of brilliant young women who are determined to excel.”

As part of the Foundation’s contributions to the event, 15 deserving students received fully sponsored awards alongside substantial cash prizes to support their ongoing educational needs. Expanding on the Foundation’s long-term vision, Mrs. Anewenah also launched a new scholarship initiative designed to cover educational costs for selected high-achieving students throughout their secondary school journey.

Beyond academic sponsorships, Mrs. Anewenah made significant personal and organizational contributions toward various year-group development projects targeted at upgrading school infrastructure and learning facilities.

Highlighting the importance of community and networking among alumni, MyTurn Ltd and the Foundation also hosted an exclusive dinner night for the returning old girls, creating a vibrant platform to foster mentorship and solidarity.

“Reconnecting with our roots and giving back to institutions that shape character is a duty we owe to the next generation,” Mrs. Anewenah noted during the social gathering. “Seeing the energy, ambition, and brilliance of these young ladies reassures us that investing in St. Francis Girls’ SHS is an investment in the future leadership of our nation.”

School administrators and alumni executive members expressed deep gratitude to the Dr. Kenneth Anewenah Foundation, MyTurn Ltd, and Lesken Enterprises for their continued philanthropy, noting that the generous sponsorships and scholarship initiatives will serve as a strong incentive for academic excellence among the student body.
