REJOINDER: Alhaji Said Sinare Distances Himself From The Statement Issued By Muslim Youth Group

The attention of the Office of H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, former National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Chairman of the Zongo Caucus Working Committee, has been drawn to a strongly-worded publication circulating on various media platforms, purportedly issued by a group of concerned Muslim youth within the NDC, lamenting the delay in appointing him to a national position.

While we appreciate the passion and loyalty of those who genuinely believe in the contributions and legacy of H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, we wish to respectfully disassociate him from the said publication and its content.

Let it be known that comrade Alhaji Said Sinare remains a loyal servant of the party and a committed disciple of decorum and discipline. He is not, and has never been, the author or instigator of any attacks on the leadership of our great party or H.E. President John Dramani Mahama.

*Indeed, when a drum beats too loud in the forest, even the wise listen before they dance.* We acknowledge the concerns raised, but we caution against narratives that may create needless disaffection or appear to pit loyalty against leadership.

H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare believes firmly that every season has its time and that even a dry leaf, with time, gets its turn under the dew. If by any circumstance he has beent overlooked, it is our solemn hope and prayer that the eyes of His Excellency the President may, one day, fall on the old warhorses who bled for this cause without demanding applause.

It is not in the character of H.E. Sinare to clamor for recognition, for the lion does not proclaim his strength in the jungle; the scars on his body speak for him. His sacrifices to the party and to the Zongo communities are well-documented and not in need of microphones to echo their worth.

He remains committed to peace, to unity, and to the total success of President Mahama and the next NDC administration. He urges all supporters and comrades to temper their frustrations with faith and to allow the President and party leadership the space to act in wisdom and in the fullness of time.

Let no well-intentioned emotion be weaponized into a wedge within our family. The pot that boils too early may crack before the soup is ready.

We call on all grassroots supporters to maintain composure, reaffirm our loyalty to the NDC, and continue working for the victory of the party in 2028 and beyond.

    Signed,

HON. JAPHET FESTUS GBEDE, MEDIA AIDE, OFFICE OF H.E. ALHAJI SAID SINARE FORMER NATIONAL VICE CHAIRMAN, ZONGO CAUCUS WORKING COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN, NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC).
