The Central Regional branch of NDC has cautioned its polling agents to be vigilant and stop any vehicle that approaches the Polling Stations as they uncover plots of the NPP to rig the elections.

The plot involves exchanging ballot boxes, a move that threatens the integrity of the electoral process.

“We urge all NDC party members and sympathizers to move to the polling stations immediately to protect the ballot”, Gabriel Nii Kommey Adams, Central Regional Secretary/ Regional Campaign Coordinator(NDC) said in a statement.

“Party agents are instructed to be extra vigilant and resist any uncommon movements within the polling parameters.

“No vehicle should be allowed close to the polling station.”

    NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC)

    CENTRAL REGIONAL SECRETARIAT

    CAPE COAST

    *FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*

*NPP PLOT TO CAUSE CONFUSION IN CENTRAL REGION UNCOVERED*

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has uncovered a nefarious plot by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to cause confusion in the Central Region during the ongoing voting.

The plot involves exchanging ballot boxes, a move that threatens the integrity of the electoral process. We urge all NDC party members and sympathizers to move to the polling stations *immediately to protect the ballot*.

Party agents are instructed to be extra vigilant and resist any uncommon movements within the polling parameters.
No vehicle should be allowed close to the polling station.

*We will not stand idly by while the NPP attempts to undermine the democratic process.*

We strongly warn the NPP to desist from any actions that could compromise the elections.

The Electoral Commission (EC) must also take immediate action to prevent this plot from unfolding and ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

The eyes of the nation and the international community are on Ghana, and any attempt to subvert the democratic process will be met with severe consequences.

We urge all stakeholders to remain vigilant and work together to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful election.

    Signed:

    Gabriel Nii Kommey Adams

Central Regional Secretary/ Regional Campaign Coordinator(NDC)
