MUYAD Social Services Demands Dismissal of NACCA Boss, Condemns LGBTQI Content in SHS Curriculum

MUYAD Social Services has raised strong concerns over what it describes as the introduction of LGBTQI ideologies into Ghana’s Senior High School curriculum, particularly in the definition of ‘gender’.

The organisation stated, “This is unacceptable and contrary to Ghanaian values and laws. Ghana does not recognize or entertain LGBTQI lifestyles, and we urge the authorities to uphold our national stance.”

Calling for accountability, the group demanded “the immediate dismissal of the head of NACCA and the GES official responsible for this negligence.” It warned that the attempt to introduce LGBTQI concepts in schools represents “a threat to our cultural heritage and societal norms.”

The statement further emphasized MUYAD’s commitment to defending national principles. “MUYAD Social Services stands firm in protecting Ghana’s values and will support all efforts to remove LGBTQI content from our curriculum,” it said.

The organisation also appealed to the wider public, stressing, “We call on all Ghanaians to reject this imposition and protect our children’s well-being.”

The release was signed by Adnan Adams Mohammed, Executive Director of MUYAD Social Services.
