    Mahama cuts number of Ministries from 30 to 23

    Per the Executive Instrument (E.I 1) 2025, President John Dramani Mahama has reduced the number of Ministries from 30 to 23.

     

    This is captured the Civil Service (Ministries) Instrument 2025 in exercise of the powers conferred on the President under section 11(3) of the Civil Service Act, 1993 (PNDCL 327).

     

    The new E.I. comes into effect on January 9, 2025.

     

     

    Below is the list of the Ministries established:
