The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has presented a special commemorative gift to the Chief of Staff, Dr. Julius Debrah, acknowledging his steadfast commitment and contributions to the institution’s growth.
The presentation took place at the corporate campus’s GB Auditorium, serving as a major highlight of the ongoing activities marking GIMPA’s milestone 65th-anniversary celebrations.
The presentation underscored the strong, enduring partnership between the state executive structure and the state’s foremost management training institute.
A Token of Institutional Gratitude
The ceremony was led by the Rector of GIMPA, Prof. Samuel K. Bonsu, who presented the high-profile state official with a beautifully framed, custom charcoal portrait. The presentation was witnessed by a packed auditorium comprising members of the institute’s management, faculty, staff, and students.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Bonsu praised Dr. Julius Debrah for his accessibility and consistent willingness to champion GIMPA’s developmental agenda over the years. He noted that the institution’s journey over the past 65 years as a premier center for public administration and management excellence has been greatly enhanced by strategic allies in governance who value human resource development.
Celebrating 65 Years of Excellence
Established to train public servants and administrative leaders for a newly independent Ghana, GIMPA’s 65th-anniversary celebration marks over six decades of academic rigor, corporate consultancy, and public sector capacity building.
Management noted that honoring key stakeholders like Hon. Julius Debrah is part of a broader effort during this anniversary year to recognize individuals whose strategic interventions have helped the institute maintain its status as the “Greenhill” center of excellence.
For his part, the Chief of Staff expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership and staff of GIMPA, emphasizing that supporting the institution remains an investment in the efficiency and quality of Ghana’s public and private sectors.
