In a bid to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency, Ghana National Gas Limited Company (Ghana Gas) CEO, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, has embarked on a strategic visit to Tema, meeting with key industry players to strengthen partnerships and ensure a reliable supply of gas to industries.

The visit underscores Ghana Gas’ commitment to supporting the government’s agenda for economic transformation.

High-level meetings were held with executives from major gas off-takers, including Fujian Sentuo Ceramic Tile Company Limited, Continental Blue Investment Ghana Limited, and the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo).

Discussions centered on improving cooperation, enhancing business relations, and strengthening gas transportation networks to drive economic growth.

In a statement signed by Richard E.Kirk – Mensah, head of Corporate Affairs, Ms. Blay emphasized the importance of operational efficiency across the region, recognizing its impact on Ghana’s economic development.

Her meeting with Sentuo Oil Refinery Limited executives highlighted Ghana Gas’ vital role in supporting downstream refining operations, while her discussions with Volta River Authority (VRA) reaffirmed the strong partnership between the two entities in advancing reliable power generation and ensuring energy sustainability.

The visit aligns with the government’s focus on building a 24-hour economy, with Ghana Gas shifting its focus to “Gas for industrialization” to drive economic transformation.

Ms. Blay’s tour of the Tema Regulating and Metering Station (TRMS) concluded the visit, where she commended staff for their dedication to maintaining the stability and security of Ghana’s energy supply.

This proactive approach by Ghana Gas CEO demonstrates the company’s commitment to industrial growth and energy sustainability, paving the way for a brighter economic future for Ghana.
