In a remarkable display of academic excellence, Mustapha Hashim Wunpini, a candidate from Tiwnikli International Senior High School, has achieved a flawless record of eight A1 grades in the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The official result slip released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) confirms that Wunpini secured the highest possible grade across all his subjects, which include Social Studies, English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, Elective Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Reacting to the news of his outstanding performance, Wunpini expressed gratitude to his teachers, family, and peers for their continuous support throughout his academic journey.
“Achieving straight A1s in science subjects alongside core courses required relentless consistency and discipline. I am deeply grateful to my teachers at Tiwnikli International for pushing me to aim for perfection, and to my parents for providing everything I needed to focus on my studies,” Wunpini said.
