At a court sitting today at the Wenchi District court on the matter brought before it by New Patriotic Party (NPP) which placed an injunction on the counting of voted ballot papers in one of the polling station in the Sene West Constituency, the court ruled against the NPP.
The court subsequently, fined NPP a sum GHC14,000s for wasting the courts time with the ‘useless’ injunction on the Sene West Parliamentary results.
The EC has been given the option to either go ahead and count the disputed ballot box or have a rerun of that particular polling station.
