KASOA — Former Otamens Ward Secretary and seasoned party organizer Paul Little Awine Nsobila has formally declared his candidacy for a Constituency Executive Member seat in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Awutu Senya East, pledging to bring direct resource mobilization and administrative structure to the local executive level.

Nsobila, who appears as Number 2 on the ballot under the campaign theme “A Little Change. A Big Difference,” traces his operational experience back to 2003 when he helped found the Alangube Branch in Odododiodioo. After relocating to Kasoa, he served as Secretary for the Marvelous B Branch, Otamens Ward Secretary in 2018, and Chairman of the Father Straathof B Branch in 2022.

In his pitch to delegates, Nsobila pointed to his branch’s targeted field strategy during the 2024 elections, where his team delivered decisive local polling station wins.

“Through teamwork, effective organization, and strong grassroots engagement, our branch became one of only two out of the fifteen branches in the ward to win both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the 2024 General Election,” Nsobila noted. “I believe leadership is not just about holding a position; it is about making sacrifices, supporting the party, and delivering results.”

Beyond administrative duties, Nsobila emphasized his history of directly financing local field materials ranging from promotional T-shirts and flyers to educational booklets and scarves to equip branch activists during major campaigns.

“As I seek to serve as an NDC Constituency Executive Member for Awutu Senya East, my vision is to bring my experience in party administration, grassroots mobilization, and resource mobilization to the constituency level,” he explained. “I want to contribute to a stronger, more united, and better-organized party where branch executives feel valued, supported, and involved in decision-making.”

Closing his campaign address to constituency delegates, Nsobila urged voters to prioritize tested administrative experience when choosing the party’s next leadership team.

“I am not coming with empty promises,” Nsobila stated. “I am coming with experience, commitment, a proven record of grassroots work, and the willingness to serve wherever the party needs me. Support a comrade who understands the work and is ready to serve.”
