The Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Edward Ato Sarpong, has stressed that true leadership is about leaving a lasting legacy, not just holding titles.
Speaking at an event, Sarpong emphasized the importance of disciplined youth leadership and announced a mentorship plan to guide young leaders.
Sarpong, a chartered accountant with extensive experience in business and leadership, believes that effective leaders should prioritize empowering others and driving progress.
His vision for ADB is centered around innovation, relevance, and responsibility, aiming to position the bank among Ghana’s top three banks.
As part of his efforts, Sarpong has initiated a mentorship program to nurture young leaders and equip them with the skills needed to succeed.
This aligns with ADB’s broader strategy, “Beyond Banking,” which focuses on redefining banking, empowering businesses, and driving prosperity.
